What is this framework?
The Tourism and F&B Industry Skills and Training Councils (ISTCs), comprising employers, industry associations, relevant government agencies and unions, led 170 industry partners to develop our Tourism and F&B Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) systems and over 280 Competency Standards.
These standards cover all major occupations in the Tourism and F&B sectors such as Front Desk Manager, Restaurant Manager, Tour & Travel Consultant, Event Planner, Conference Producer, Chef, Server and Bartender etc.
Tourism and F&B WSQ certifications are nationally endorsed and recognised by industry.
The training community and companies can use the Tourism and F&B WSQ to develop programmes and materials, to accredit workers for national recognition and more.
